Fairbridges is the South African member of the prestigious international network of independent law firms, Terralex, established in 1990 and represented by 150 firms in 100 countries world-wide.

Fairbridges serves the needs in South Africa and neighbouring states of clients of the 12 000-plus lawyers in the Terralex member firms.

Louis Rood, Chairman of Fairbridges, serves on the Board of Terralex and is co-chair of its Africa region. The 2005 AGM of Terralex took place in Shanghai in China.
